Mad With Power - thomas Bannach- he payed his dues-- thermotron management training

ok

when i worked at thermotron--

Thomas bannach  when he replaced tom Patterson-- as the National service manager-- his 1st assignment-- was to harass and drum out Jeff scholtie-- out in the Texas office--

Thomas Bannach said it was ok -- as a manager to lie ,cheat steal embezzle, defraud and lible and slander your co workers-- and lead them astray-- to assassinate their character

Because Every one he knows is like that!!

The management motto-- is what drove him-- as Danile j okeefe-- assigned him as the West Coast manager--

he then established dean tripp, hil sybesma, and Gregory V Johnson-- as his co conspirators--

and proceded to lible and slander and drum out  every one else--

why ?? because it is ok-- to lie cheat defraud and steal and slander every - one

so long as you get away with it and blame it on some one else

interesting thing about holland michigan and thermotron, is that the managers i delt with all bragg with liers and deceivers..they are..

when ROn Wiley was the thermotron west coast manager, dispatcher, "good old boy"

I was working at Litton Ind and just set up an test lab for them in Oregon i hired and trained the new staff and when Ron Wiley sent up 3 thermotron field service technicians, all 3 combined barley made up one complete person..

But they have to get their training somewhere.. one customer at time...

Then Ron Wiley dispatehed a unskilled and un qualified employee from washington state to perform the start up on an vibration shaker..

his only training at thermotron was they told him it was "roundand blue " and it fit under the chamber..

after a week of trying to get it to work.. he concluded that the logic moduel was bad..

40 hours for that..

But he did know where the "Hidden Buttons" were on the chamber temperature controller..

the 3 other field service engineers Ron Wiley dispatched didn't have a clue..

when i asked if he could do a operational performance over view for the 13 men i had hired in the test lab ,

Ron wiley and Dave waterfield said thermotron no longer does that for customers..

Ron Wiley asked
me if i remembered Berry Wright who was a Tom Bannach replacement.. and he quit thermotron when dave waterfield gave him a Dan O'keefe review.. policy .. find some thing they did wrong and make a big deal about it.. so u don't have to give then a raise.. he quit as the West Coast Manager,

and Fred Plont had a lot of backstabbing words to say about that ... but as i said to fred Plont.. "what'sit to u ?" and freds reply was " Well he won't be able to find a better job where u don't have to work very hard" as fred's claim to fame is being a lazy lying 2 faced back stabber and embezzler.. u can see why he is a long ter m
Thermotron employee..

Heck.. Bob Wiley hired him twice!!!

any way... because Holland Michigan is know as the West Coast Hipocroits..
and Thermotron is a great place to see all the different types of liars, thieves and embezzlers,

all of them fit into howard pittmans profile on who is going to Hell..

Howard Pittman's Testimony

On August 3, 1979, Howard Pittman, a Baptist minister for 35 years, died while on the operating table during surgery and had a near-death experience. After angels showed him the second and third heavens, he was taken before the very Throne of God where he was given a message to share with the world.

The games that people play, reinforce whatever social rules they are trying to fulfil; Whatever dream or image they are trying to promote.

Big John the Tindink early on dramatized the game of deceit at one weasel factory I worked. In the effort to hide his backstabbing and defrauding his co-workers he would say :

“Old Bob is as Smart as a Fox.

Old Bob the Original “First Ever” National Manager. You might say he was ” the Godfather ” of the “I Lied for You ”
Good Old Boy’s Club in the environmental chamber industry. So, lets take a look at his Character and the business methods he employed.

The nature of the environmental industry;
The demands and requirements of equipment performance results in:
the product shapes the character of its masters.
The industry really started to take-off and develop in the 1960′s as a result of the space program. What was being sold were primarily custom made environmental test equipment, and every unit had it own particular personality or problems. The basic engineering was done on a drafting board, the final engineered product was produced on the production floor, in the their final test dept, with many setbacks and problems. As late as 1982 the industry was still taking up to a year over its given ship date to get (custom work) equipment operating and shipped to the customer. There was always a push to ship equipment prior to having all the -bugs-out to get that final payment.
It was then the responsibility of the field service dept. to satisfy the customer needs, and equipment requirements.
No- news-is-good- news!!!!
What this then did was produce an attitude of getting the customer off their backs. Get a body-over[service representive] over there to the customer’s shop so they will shut up!!!

ed [customer concern was "really" about number #9 on the list, the real concern was to get that last payment]

So this pressure encouraged the “I Lied For YOU” Philosophy of management.
Good Old Bob’s business philosophy as told:

“I consider it part of your job to do the final sell-off of this equipment; It doesn’t matter if the equipment works right or not:

“Your job is to convince the customer
it is working correctly!!!!!!
So, of course you’re going to have to lie.

The next step in this process you are supposed to tell the customer anything they want to hear(always agree with them, Yes I understand was popular.).

This means ship dates–promise anything because of the long lead time to produce the test equipment the customer will be locked in six months down the road; even if there is a drop-dead-clause (refuse to accept the order upon delivery) because they won’t have the time to reorder from anyone else.

him or us out of trouble.
It was sometimes an adventure talking to “Old Bob” you see he had this pregnant profile and when he would talk to someone he would preface the conversation with:

” Well ya, know I’ve been in this business for twenty-eight years now “

[as he would rub his hands up and down his fat belly]

“and the environmental business has been very-very-good-to-me, I’ve seen a lot of things, blah, blah. blah.”

Big John and Old Bob were a good “fit” Big John was also technically incompetent, lazy, and a drunk, and his main snitch(but a “fun” guy to be around). Observing Big John’s activities it was not surprise that he would sell anyone down the river. He was always running behind everyone’s back.

ed [perhaps the ease of the environmental chamber business attracts the thugs]

I couldn’t figure out why they hired him in the first place!”
a bad organizational fit there!

get-a-body-over-there.]

If
the customer wants to verify the test results of the equipment prior to
shipment that’s “ok” EXCEPT how about if we just send you a copy of the
doctored test results. [doesn’t everybody else do the same thing??.]

Well do you get the drift??—everything is set-up for deception.

You might say that the client is:

“Someone who you get drunk so you can then find out how much money they really have got to spend”.

Or insert a straw into the back of their skull and suck until their head caves in!!!!

Thus the introduction of the

“I–Lied–For–You–Club”.

{The Good-Old-Boys-Club}

He typified the management style there;

the rule for management was simple.

“It’s OK to lie to a little bit”

if it keeps him or us out of trouble.

Hello, as a reminder, no offence intended...i really was wondering if u know of any people in this business with good character. That's what i liked about working as a teacher, people actually had good character.

But obviously i should have put in for a out side sales position... maybe the one bill arvo (detroit) had as out side... or maybe inside .. obviously it is an easy job.. (in my dreams huh)
In california thermotron sales was "get the customer drunk and find out how much money they really had to spend.

Why you ask... well... if Tom patterson can't (and bill arvo couldn't, but hil could) identify the different liars and thieves and embezzlers of your own company and the others that u have worked with... How in the world do you identify the bull the customer might say and your competition?

When Bill bench told me to lie and deceive the customer the customer at the navel station in San Diego, I said to Bill I realize my job to you is to get the customer to sign off... but unfortunity this group is not as dumb as you hoped for: So you tell me what lies they will believe and I will transmit that info, Heck that old sales man who sold the job was useless.. All he could do was say” well it will work at some of the specifications, but we just don’t know which ones...
But i guess the rule is the technician they sent is dumb and we will send someone smarter.

Obviously getting the customer to sign off is parliament, but there was no team work for this at russles or at thermo Ron. When Hil was sent to Litton on a bad project, the custiomer came to me and said .. Great now they are sending people to lie to me and tell me i don't know what i ordered and saw.

Not at all different from thermo Ron... except at thermotron there was daily thieft and embezzlement, Heck I found it so puzzling... that I asked the managemt there if they were a money laundering operation for the Mafa and what they budgeted for it. All these years later I still have not found another company that encouraged lying cheating, stealing, robbery theft and embezzlement, and as banish demonstrated libeling and slandering his co-workers, and drumming them out...

Funny last April i interviewed for a job in new jersey with Environmental specilities and wayne one of the co-owners said they had lost an( 800,000) eight hundred thousand dollar order because they couldn't meet the ship date. I said that is a shame because Dan O'Keff at thermotron says just lie to the customer and tell them what they want to hear because everyone has a slipping ship date, everyone lies to the customer anyway.(But I couldn't get excited about living in new jersey)

So I apologize if this is not common knowledge...

When u walk into a whore house in Los Vegas... most every body is a whore... even the patrons...

Good people with good character is actually hard to find..
or we can just pretend.

If this is new.....then...wow.. good thing i wrote a thesis on this and kept a journal with memos from thermotron.. I have taught on this a few times also.

So in all your wide years of experience do you know of any companies where good people work there?? Herman Miller in Holland seems to have a good rap.. but their management appears to be accountable and upstanding.. gee it even made the news paper a month ago..and it might be true?

Hmmm... Like the war Iraq with George bush and Dick chenny, opps... we got bad info on the W of MD... and no one gets fired for doing a bad job... it must be loyalty.

working at thermotron was the worst place with the criminal psychopaths', as mark lamers said Good people dont workd at thermotron for long,
i was trained by thomas patterson at thermotron, He replaced Bob Wiley as a National Service Manager..

My Review stated i need to spend more time in a “Bar” with john Tenbrink, and David Durham, and john sherman, and get into the game by false-a-ing my working time .. 2-fit-in..because embezzling was considered Normal, a few thousand to 5 or 10 thousand a year was Ok.

Dick alverson said “he knew john and dave were lying about their co-workers, because he ws their on that job.” and he knew their “GAME”

When i worked with him again at Russles Technical Products.. he instructed me that “after you lie, cheat, and defraud” the 1st 500 people it gets easer..

i quit there after Bill Bench told me it didn’t matter if the equipment worked or not, my job was to just “deceive the customer and get them to sign -off-on-the-equipment!!.. Guess what the Character of bill bench is ??? DUH ???

This is the requirement to FIT-IN- and work at ESPEC chamber company— bob wiley and john tenbrink proved that 2-B- the type of person they hire.

When marty rich worked with john tenbrink at ESPEC, john would lead him astray, then run behind his back , and “rat-him-out” in the effort to “Look-Good”

Bob Wiley being a liar and a drunk, would believe john tenbrinks lies.

oh bob wiley did tell his “inner” circle that “it was OK 2 lie about what ‘s going on” so long as they didn’t get him in “trouble”

ron wiley told me that the family story was that Bob Wiley started the company sexton and the ESPEC chamber company, that it was a “spin-off” of Sexton Industries

Somewhere today, there will be breaking news that a well-known and/or powerful person has been accused of abusing an employee, co-worker or romantic partner. So here's the question: Did their bad behavior only start after they became well-known or powerful?

It seems much more likely to me that they didn't become abusers when they became powerful, but that they became powerful because they were abusers.

Think about it isn't the most conniving, evil, creepy, abusive back-stabber in your workplace the one who's most likely to get promoted? Isn't the guy or gal who takes credit for your work, who cuts corners, who breaks the rules and sucks up to the bosses the most likely to skip a grade?

If this is true, then serial abusers are more likely to climb the corporate ladder, the church hierarchy or the military ranks than their more worthy co-workers. How else to explain the college bribery scandal not to mention the political scandals, church scandals, corporate scandals and Hollywood scandals that are all happening at the same time? How is it that so many ethically challenged people have risen to the top of the heap over the good and decent ones?

Cream no longer rises to the top. At best, it's tolerated down at the bottom. After all, somebody has to do the work while the abusers focus on getting ahead.

So often we hear about famous, powerful people making life miserable for everyone who works for or near them that it's easy to think
